The landscape architecture project addressing the Kofer River in Ramat Gan proposes a new approach to transforming the seasonal stream into a vibrant public space throughout the year. The river was divided into several sections, each emphasizing a unique social and community aspect.
In the section connecting the neighborhoods, we designed a shaded promenade with walking and biking paths, enabling smooth and pleasant passage between residential areas while incorporating rest spots and spontaneous meeting points. The neighborhood section includes diverse gathering spaces such as plazas for community activities, playgrounds, and seating areas to enhance local residents' daily experiences. The grove section leverages the river's open natural spaces, integrating lawns and picnic areas, walking trails, and benches with scenic views, creating varied opportunities for socializing and relaxation.
